Lisa Conrad

Visual Artist

Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Lisa Conrad relocated to Miami, FL in 2021. She earned her BFA in Studio Arts and MA in Art Education from Kean University in NJ. For the past decade, Conrad has taught visual art instruction in public and private schools, for non-profit art centers, and in museum settings. Additionally, she is the Founder of the Newark Print Shop, a non-profit printmaking studio in Newark, NJ, where she served as the Executive Director for 10 years. As a practicing artist, she has created a multifaceted body of work including ceramics, works on handmade paper, artist books, sculptures and prints. Her work has been exhibited widely and is held in various private and public collections including the Newark Public Library Special Collections. She is currently an elementary art teacher at iPrep Academy in downtown Miami.
